Plutocracy
PLUTOCRACY (Gr. xXovroKparta, from TrXoDros, wealth, and Kparos, power), government or power exercised by the possessors of wealth, power obtained by the mere possession of riches; hence a body or ruling class whose influence is due only to their money.
