Pelvis
PELVIS (Lat. for " basin," cf. Gr. ir&Xw), in anatomy, the bony cavity at the lower part of the abdomen in which much of the genito-urinary apparatus and the lower part of the bowels are contained (see SKELETON, Appcndicidar).
