Mecklenburg
MECKLENBURG, a territory in northern Germany, on the Baltic Sea, extending from 53 4' to 54 22' N. and from 10 35' to 13 57' E., unequally divided into the two grand duchies of Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Mecklenburg-Strelhz.
