Arrenotokous, Arrenotoky
ARRENOTOKOUS, ARRENOTOKY (from Gr., male, and from , to beget), biological terms proposed by Leuckart and Eduard von Siebold to denote those parthenogenetic females which produce male young, while "thelytokous" and "thelytoky" would denote their producing female young.
