Analytic
ANALYTIC (the adjective of "analysis"' q.v.), according with, or consisting in, the method of separating a whole into its parts, the opposite of synthetic. For analytic chemistry, analytic language, etc., see the articles under the noun-headings. The title of analutika or Analytics was given by Aristotle to his treatises on logic.
